Mount and blade medieval conquest best faction
Magic uses the firearms skill and you currently cannot use magic in sieges. AoE Heals, damage return and a shield makes you and your army tanky as all hell. My best fight so far has been 1100 vampire undead vs me. Flat damage in an AoE, it's like I just threw a grenade. Awakening of the wood is your only good offensive spell but it's amazing. Pick a school of magic that has a flat damage AoE and doesn't fuck around with ironflesh or agility tests or whatever tests. Warrior priest you have to train in a war academy while Bretonnia you can train them from peasants.īut the best unit in the entire game, capable of soloing hundreds of troops and multiple lords is you using magic. Warrior priests in the empire do the same but Bretonnia is way easier to train. Bretonnia is very strong, with their magical bullshit fucking shields that proc all the time and even if you do hit they got tons of fuck off armor AND some of them heal over time. Good luck hitting them.ĭue to the nature of warband, heavy cav is just the best unit type. His gear might seem lackluster but their dodge is crazy high. The dark elf assassin is a good contender I think. The jezzails and warplock engineers are good too and are easily accessible since the Skaven troop tree doesn't go high tier.īest archers are high elves. They run out of ammo real quick so they're not that good. Most armies do not spawn with them and if they do it's 1 or 2. You have to find one that spawned in a lords army, defeat the army, take the ratling as a prisoner and then convert him. Skaven have the ratling gunners but good luck getting any. Honorable mention to the pirate faction, they have the best sharpshooters but who needs sharpshooting when you can use AoE? The leadbelcher is a cannon sized shotgun and the master engineer has a grenade launcher.
Best gun units are the mercenary ogres with their leadbelcher or the master engineer for the dwarfs.
